Tina Fey, you’ve got company.
Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend, CNN is reporting.
Fey a comedian who bears a resemblance to the Alaska governor, has been earning rave reviews for her portrayal of Palin during the election.
Palin has taken the impersonations with good humor, joking that gaffes she made in interviews were “to keep Tina Fey in business.” Palin also once dressed up as the actress for Halloween, a staffer told CBS News.
Palin won’t be the first politician to appear on the show in response to an impersonation. During the primaries, Hillary Clinton appeared on the show with Amy Poehler, who had portrayed the New York senator in skits. The duo — wearing matching outfits — kiddingly teased one another over the impersonation, and Clinton’s appearance was seen by some as blunting the impact of the impression.
